The province’s minister of transportation, Bilal Akbar Khan, declared that students will be able to purchase e-bikes on a payment plan with convenient installments, making them accessible to all. For the first phase, which will give 20,000 bikes, including 1,000 electric ones, 190,000 students have signed up so far.

Following a thorough review of the situation, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced that all remaining students who applied—roughly 7200 more students—would receive E-bikes from the government. Since the Quota for E-bikes was only 1000, the remaining students will soon receive their bikes in convenient installments.
