وزیر اعلیٰ مریم نواز نے مفت سولر پینل سکیم کا آغاز کیا ہے، جس کا مقصد مستحقین کو ان کے بجلی کے بلوں میں مستقل ریلیف فراہم کرنا ہے۔ یعنی بجلی کا استعمال کرنے والے شیڈولڈ گھرانوں کو شمسی توانائی کا فائدہ فراہم کرنے سے بجلی کی قیمت کم ہو جائے گی۔ حکومت پنجاب عوام کو مفت سولر پینل سکیمیں فراہم کرے گی جس سے نہ صرف وقتی اثرات میں کمی آئے گی بلکہ عوام کی زندگیوں میں مالی استحکام بھی آئے گا جو کہ مہنگائی کے اس دور میں سب سے بڑا مسئلہ ہے۔ پنجاب حکومت نے اس مفت سولر پینل سکیم کی لاگت 10 ارب روپے رکھی ہے جس کے ذریعے ایک لاکھ گھرانوں کو مفت سولر پینل فراہم کیے جائیں گے۔ وزیر اعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز شریف نے اپنی بریفنگ کے دوران کہا کہ “سولر پینلز کی فراہمی سے تمام لوگوں کو ان کے بجلی کے بلوں میں نمایاں ریلیف ملے گا”۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ “پنجاب کو جلد ہی قابل تجدید توانائی کا مرکز بنایا جائے گا”۔

However, if someone consumes more than 200 units of electricity, they will not be eligible for this program.
Punjab Government Offers 550W And 1100W Solar System
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said during the announcement that 100,000 Solar panels that will be given to families using 200 units will be 550 watts and 1100 watts. The 550-watt panels will be for small houses that consume less electricity and the 1100-watt panels will be for large houses that consume more.

Result Of Punjab Free Solar Panel Will Conduct Through Balloting By June
Consumers who consume up to 200 units of electricity per month will be given solar systems through the balloting process. This process will be done in June 2025, as per the announcement of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. Through the same process, the beneficiaries will be randomly selected and free solar panels will be provided to them.
Solar Systems Free Installation Successful Residents House:
The Punjab Government will also provide installation of solar panels in the houses of successful candidates. Soon Agricultural Tubewells Will Also Be Converted Into Solar Energy

This means that tube wells that are used to extract water from the ground will be run on solar energy instead of electricity or diesel.
