A spokesperson for the Deputy Director(DD) of the Benazir income support program, Madam Raazia Asim, told the media on Tuesday that there were 157,268 deserving registered beneficiaries in the district overall, of whom 115,632 had received BISP payments of Rs. 10,500 each. The payments process for 73% of these beneficiaries has already been finished, and the remaining payments process will be finished shortly.
