More Than 2 Million Beneficiaries Benefits By BISP Program Via 43 Tehsil Centers In Balochistan

According to the latest update by the bisp official portal, many senior persons along with Rubina Khalid have visited the Areas in Balochistan to examine all the facilities present at Tehsil centers and their BISP New chairperson had made a speech in which she stated that the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) is a ray of hope for the deserving people of Balochistan.

Mr. Naveed Akbar told the attendees during the briefing that BISP centers are running in 158 sub-tehsils and 43 tehsils in Balochistan.

The Benazir Income Support Programme is providing benefits to two million worthy individuals in Balochistan. Additionally, the Chairperson was informed that 20 billion rupees are being disbursed to Balochistan beneficiaries under several programs, such as Taleemi Wazaif, the Benazir Kafaalat Program, the Benazir Nashonuma Program, and other welfare initiatives.

BISP Survey Through 18 Satellite Vans to Boost Access in Balochistan

She presided over a meeting regarding the Benazir Income Support Program in Balochistan at the LIEDA Conference Hall while giving the Speech during her visit to Hub. It was noted that because internet connectivity is scarce in many of Balochistan’s remote areas, many recipients are unable to benefit from the initiative. 

The need for satellite vans was underlined as a remedy for this issue. In 18 districts, 18 of the 25 satellite vans allotted to the BISP program are currently in service. 

Strategy For Making Easy Payments In Balochistan 

Following Chairman Bilawal Bhutto’s instructions, Senator Rubina Khalid declared that the BISP beneficiaries’ financial support payments would be made simpler. The State Bank Governor has been instructed by President Asif Ali Zardari to expedite the government’s efforts to guarantee prompt card issue and payment. In addition, the establishment of seven new zones is increasing the coverage of BISP in Balochistan.
