The Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Program, Rubina Khalid announced the most important motives of the BISP Program while talking to the media at the time of her Karachi visit. During the visit to Karachi, the BISP Chairperson Rubina Khalid met the Sindh senator. Also, he informed that the BISP is now facilitating more than 25 Lakh beneficiares in Sindh which is one-fourth of its total number of beneficiaries across the nation. Therefore the Benazir Program is one of the most popular initiatives that is running for the betterment of the province and its poor community. 

The BISP chairperson also visits the Karachi Vocational and Technical Skills training centers to encourage the youth to work and gain knowledge about the advanced fields.

Rubina visits STEVTA Staff College, inspects training classes

On Wednesday, Staff College Sindh Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (STEVTA) in New Karachi was visited by Senator Rubina Khalid, the chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), who examined several departments and ongoing training sessions. The chairwoman of BISP was briefed by Director Staff College STEVTA Zarqa Saeed about the institution’s numerous programs and skill development.

BISP Payments To Be Given Transparently

Rubina Khalid, the chairperson of Benazir, stated that the beneficiaries would have access to a new financial system. Instead of working with a single bank, they will now have agreements with six, guaranteeing that every beneficiary will receive their monthly installments on schedule and without any deductions.

According to Rubina Khalid, the BISP has put in place a new financial framework that allows it to support deserving women financially by pooling the resources of up to six different banks.
