CM Punjab Launches 2nd Phase Of Honhaar Scholarship Program

Maryam Nawaz, Chief Minister of Punjab has finally distributed 2,570 more scholarships to students on 23 December 2024 in Lahore. The Honhaar Scholarship Program is a landmark initiative for the empowerment of youth and the country as well.

Multiple fields plus various universities and medical colleges are added to the program. The UET students also aid these scholarships.

Launch Of Honhaar Scholarships 2nd Phase
CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz on Monday 23rd December 2024, inaugurated the 2nd Phase of Honhaar Scholarships at Fast National University of Computer and Engineering in Rawalpindi. All the students under the Punjab Scholarships will be granted every facility related to their education. Hence, all expenses of the talented student will be dealt with by the Punjab government. Now all the hardworking young scholars can achieve their academic studies from the illustrious education hubs established in the Province.

وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز نے پیر 23 دسمبر 2024 کو راولپنڈی میں فاسٹ نیشنل یونیورسٹی آف کمپیوٹر اینڈ انجینئرنگ میں ہنر سکالرشپ کے دوسرے مرحلے کا افتتاح کیا۔ پنجاب اسکالرشپس کے تحت تمام طلباء کو ان کی تعلیم سے متعلق ہر سہولت فراہم کی جائے گی۔ اس لیے ہونہار طالب علم کے تمام اخراجات حکومت پنجاب برداشت کرے گی۔ اب تمام محنتی نوجوان اسکالرز صوبے میں قائم کردہ نامور تعلیمی مراکز سے اپنی تعلیمی تعلیم حاصل کر سکتے ہیں۔

Online Application Portal For Students
CM Punjab has announced that the scholarship applications will be processed online. This streamlines the application process, making it easier for students across the province to maintain transparency in the Scholarship Programme.
Aim To Provide 30,000 Scholarships Till 4 Years:
The Punjab Government will provide 30,000 scholarships over the next four years The Punjab Government focuses on uplifting academic distinction and filling up the void in the higher academic sector with these large-scale scholarships allotments.

Educational Empowerment For Students In 68 Fields and 65 Units
The Punjab government aims to settle things on an equal basis by aiding all deserving students with the opportunity to pursue their higher education excluding financial conditions.
Now students from urban and rural areas will have equal availability of the resources for their education. That’s why the Punjab government has targeted various universities and colleges with multiple fields so that students from any field can easily avail the scholarship benefits.
Scholarships Will Be Supervised At 3-Tier Communities
The entire scholarship process will be supervised at three levels: institutional, provincial, and steering committees.
2,570 Scholarships Awarded in Rawalpindi – Phase II
In the first phase of the scholarship disbursement at Punjab University Maryam Nawaz allocated 2473 scholarships and on 23 December at the second meeting of distribution she disbursed 2,570 scholarships, highlighting the broad vision of the Honhaar Scholarship Program.
Provision Of 1886 Students Of UET In Lahore:
Honhaar Scholarship Program also provides scholarships for students at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore. A total of 1,886 students from UET have been given scholarships, among which 1660 were disbursed in the Public sector while 637 were in private colleges.
