400,000 Students Will Get Free Milk In 3527 Schools Across South Punjab

The government of Punjab has launched the latest Meal program in South Punjab for the Children of Primary Schools in which they are providing free milk packs to 4 Lakh students in 3527 Schools. To Launch this program Maryam Nawaz has made a start from the Government school in Gera Ghazi Khan on 5th September. She also focussed on multiple factors to revolutionize the Schooling system in Pujab and promised to provide all the necessities to the children there.

Govt of Punjab to Provide Free Milk in 3527 Schools Across South Punjab
Maryam Nawaz has launched a new initiative for malnutrition children in South Punjab and has vowed to prevail the “School Nutrition Program” across Punjab so that every child who has a dietary disease or deficiency can receive a nutritional meal to fill their stomach. In this regard, CM has taken a start with providing Milk Packs in 3527 Schools in South Punjab which will be given to children from nursery to 5 Class.
What is Malnutrition?
Malnutrition is a condition that occurs when the body does not get the right balance of nutrients it needs to function properly. It can happen due to a lack of food, a poor diet, or an inability to absorb nutrients.
CM Punjab Launched “School Nutrition Program”
During her speech at the schools Maryam Nawaz said that this initiative will soon be implemented throughout the entire province of Punjab and that the first step has already been taken, 4 lakh children will receive a daily 175ml milk pack, Maryam Nawaz made good on her promise to launch the milk-providing program for primary school students in Punjab.

How The Schools Will Get Benefit From the Free Milk Scheme?
In South Punjab Malnutrition is one of the most prominent Problems, due to a lack of food many students go to their schools with empty stomachs, therefore Maryam Nawaz has started the School Nutrition Program in South Punjab.
The Education Minister will oversee the program and ensure that children receive free milk for the next five years. During her visit to a government primary school in Dera Ghazi Khan, Maryam Nawaz discussed health and education with the students while also giving them milk packs.
More Meal Will be added to this scheme in upcoming years so that they can properly fight poverty and malnutrition type of diseases in Punjab. Maryam Nawaz also suggested other provinces launch these types of meal programs in Schools for children.
What Modifications CM’s Order Will Incorporate for Schools
Maryam Nawaz underlined during her speech at DG Khan’s School that the administration is dedicated to implementing significant improvements that would improve the curriculum and the overall standard of education. She also underlined efforts to update school sports facilities to ensure kids’ broader growth.
She emphasized that the Ministry of Education under Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has been working tirelessly to serve the public and ethically use resources.
