Punjab Initially Provides Over 41 Services at Your Doorsteps: Dastak Program Reviewed

The Punjab Government has reviewed the Datak Programme in Punjab in a meeting that Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar chaired on 26th August, Monday. In this meeting, they discuss about the overall progress of the Maryam Ki Dastak Program and also talk about the future development and possibilities that could be achieved for making this initiative more useful and convenient for the general Public.

Dastak App Providing Services At DoorSteps – Latest Update 

The most recent information about the Punjab project and Maryam Nawaz’s goal of digitalizing the province indicates that various programs have been launched to make it simple for individuals to handle all official business from home. This is the main reason that Maryam Nawaz has launched the Dastak App which not only provides jobs to the youth but also offers more than 40 services at your Doorsteps.

The Punjab government has decided to change the appropriate agencies’ policies to make it simpler for citizens to receive services at their doorstep as part of the “Dastak program.”

More Than 41 Services are provided by Dastak In Lahore

Recently a meeting in Lahore was held which was chaired by the Cheif Sectarty to review the Dastak Programme Service and to make amendments where it is necessary, during the meeting it was found that In Lahore more than 41 Services are provided by the Dastak App at the publics doorsteps.

Chief Secretary Punjab Zahid Akhtar Zaman chaired the meeting:

Initially, 41 services including domicile, e-stamping, 6 death, birth, and marriage certificates are being provided in Lahore. He further mentioned that with the help of IT, they are bringing ease and comfort into everyone’s lives, as residential people can get the work done from their homes without the need to visit government offices. 

Punjab Govt Decides to Make Dastak Services More Easy 

The chairman of the PITB, the officers in question, and the administrative secretaries of many departments, including local government, communication, and works, attended the meeting. The chief secretary stated that the Dastak program allows citizens to receive services at home without having to attend offices and that the Punjab government is using information technology to make people’s lives easier.
