According to the latest BISP Update from Giligit Baltistan, where Chairperson Rubina Khalid visited with her team and looked around the areas related to the Benazir Income Support Program to analyze the situation and current position of Beneficiaries at the BISP Tehsil office. From the fresh report of Gilgit Baltistan, the BISP Program is currently assisting more than 92,000 Beneficiaries from the Benazir Kafalat Program so that they live their lives with all the basic requirements.

Benazir Chairperson Rubina Khalid meets the Cheif minister of Gilgit Baltistan where she talks about many important issues that need to be solved immediately for the Beneficiary’s Convenience so that they can easily receive their Monthly Stipend from 8171 Kafaalat Program through the Online Platform.
بینظیر کی چیئرپرسن روبینہ خالد نے گلگت بلتستان کے وزیر اعلیٰ سے ملاقات کی جہاں انہوں نے بہت سے اہم مسائل کے بارے میں بات کی جنہیں مستحقین کی سہولت کے لیے فوری طور پر حل کرنے کی ضرورت ہے تاکہ وہ آن لائن پلیٹ فارم کے ذریعے 8171 کفالت پروگرام سے اپنا ماہانہ وظیفہ باآسانی حاصل کر سکیں۔ ملاقات کے دوران اس بات کا ذکر کیا گیا کہ گلگت بلتستان میں 92 ہزار سے زائد خاندان بے نظیر انکم سپورٹ پروگرام سے مستفید ہو رہے ہیں۔ اس لیے انتظامات پر نظر رکھنا اور تمام تکنیکی اور منظم مسائل کو فوری طور پر حل کرنا ان کی ترجیح ہونی چاہیے۔
During her meeting, it was noted that in Gilgit Baltistan more than 92,000 families are benefiting from the Benazir Income Support program. Therefore it should be their priority to watch out for the arrangements and immediately solve all the technical and systematic problems.
Internet Inavailibility – Major Issue For Tribal Areas
In the meeting it was discussed that the major part of the BISP Beneficiaries in Gilgit Baltistan is related to the Tribal Areas where the internet Problem is the major problem for residents, therefore, Rubina Khalid suggested the CM Provide internet services in these areas so that the Beneficiaries can receive their payments accordingly without any deduction and long traveling.
Rubina Khalid has also highlighted the main purpose of providing payments through new banking system is only to make the Payment procedure transparent and speedier.
CM Urged BISP To Increase The PMT Score For Baltistan region
While exchanging thoughts during a meeting in Gigit Baltistan, the Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan Haji Gulbar Khan urged Rubina Khalid and BISP team to increase the PMT Score value for the residents of Baltistan so that more people can get benefit from the Bisp support.
This suggestion has been given due to the fact, that there is very little private sector and many people are facing unemployment due to which people can not able to live their lives accordingly by utilizing the necessities of their lives.
Shortage Of BISP Staff In BISP Regional Offices
One more major problem that Beneficiaries are facing in Gigit Baltistan is the shortage of BISP Staff due to which many beneficiaries cannot able to register their names for new payments and many people are unable to get in touch with the BISP team. Therefore, CM has urged BISP to look into the matter and solve the problems as soon as possible.
Moreover, despite some of these problems, BISP has continued to provide its service in the province and this regard they appreciate their hard work and effort for the vulnerable families.
