Here is the latest Update from the Benazir Income Support Program, the delegation from the Asian Development Bank has visited the BISP One Window Center for a survey.

The team includes many senior people and official directors from the organization, to give a briefing on the main perspectives of the BISP Program and its initiative, Director General Naveed Akbar has joined them so that they can get a clear knowledge about the new Payment ways for the Beneficiaries and how the strategy has been owned by BISP to increase transparency in BISP Registration and Cash Transfer Process.

ADB Delegation visits BISP One Window Center

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) sent a group of Executive and Alternate Executive Directors to the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) One Window Center in G-7, Islamabad, to examine how it is run.

Shigeo Shimizu, Supak Chaiyawan, Noor Ahmed, Shantanu Mitra, and Llewellyn Roberts were among the delegation members led by Donald Bobiash.

Director Naveed Akbar Briefs The Delegation 

As the Asian Development Team arrived at the BISP One Window Center in Islamabad, Director General Naveed Akbar joined them and gave a detailed briefing about the BISP Program’s main perspective and how their multiple Schemes are working for regulating and enhancing the financial status of lower class families. 

He mentioned all the core BISP programs like the Benazir Kafalat program, Taleemi Wazaif, Benazir Nashonuma Program, and now the latest BISP Skill training program.

BISP New Payment Module and NSER DataBase

When the delegation arrived at the Benazir One Window Center they recognized the modification and improvement in the services provided by the BISP Program and they were also guided about Benazir’s new Payment structure, its NSER Database technology system that is holding the data of Millions of households and it is continuously updating according to their changing status.

Meanwhile, Naveed Akbar also discussed the BISP Mobile Van Registration, which is creating opportunities for the people of Rural areas to join the Benazir Income Support Program and complete the Surveys at their doorsteps.

ADB Delegation Appreciated BISP For Empowering Poor People

The ADB delegation highlighted the range of services designed especially to satisfy the needs of women beneficiaries and complimented the BISP One Window Center for its efficient and streamlined operations. They praised the center’s capacity to offer a comprehensive support system in one location, making it easier for women to receive financial aid, education, healthcare, and other critical services.
