Maryam Nawaz To Launch Laptop Scheme In Jan 2025
By giving out checks to students, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif formally launched the “Honhaar Scholarship Scheme” on Wednesday. The Holy Quran was recited at the start of the ceremony at Punjab University. The musical society of GC University then sang a national song and a poem by Allama Iqbal.
At the Launching Ceremony, CM announced about the Free Laptop Scheme that will be initiated in January for all the eligible and deserving youth who are deprived of essential technology to do good in their education. She also assures the students of free Scholarships in very productive and renowned universities so that they can save their career and relieve the burdens of their families.
Next Phase Of CM Laptop Scheme 2025
Maryam Nawaz declared that the second phase of the laptop program would begin in January and that scholarships would be given out without regard to a candidate’s political membership. “This merit-based scholarship program will turn the dreams of underprivileged students into reality,” she stated.
CM Offering Easy Loans To Youth For Their Business
She also revealed a new program that will assist students launch their enterprises and lessen the financial strain on their families by providing loans of up to millions of rupees. “The loans will be interest-free and given in easy instalments so that students can work with peace of mind.”
She explained that the work for an easy installment loan of up to Rs 1 Crore is in progress and the government will take all the responsibility of extra interest on these installment so that applicants will easily pay their debt.
Punjab 30,000 Scholarships On Merit
CM Maryam Nawaz stated during the scholarship program’s launch that it is her duty to educate gifted children and that real politicians are those who make investments in the next generation. All selections in Punjab’s districts have been made based on merit, the chief minister said.
According to her, 70,000 scholarship applications have been received, and 30,000 of them will be given out, 18,000 to male students and 12,000 to female students.
