40,000 Kisan Card 1st Stage Distribution Has Been Started:

On 10th September 2024, the CM of Punjab commenced the distribution of Kisan Cards to registered People. In the 1st phase, 40,000 Cards will be issued to farmers. The farmers can make use of this card after 15 October. Within a year, around five lakh farmers will be able to benefit from this Kisan card. From mid-next month, farmers will be able to use the Kisan Cards for the wheat crop.

Their objective is to provide interest-free loans and facilitate the inputs needed by the farmers.

Approval Of Agricultural Mall Pilot Project:

The CM approved the Agricultural Mall Pilot Project in Sargodha, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur, and Okara, where the farmers can approach pesticides, medicines for crops, fertilizer, and agricultural goods as well. Furthermore, the CM Green Tractor Scheme will distribute 10,000 tractors to farmers for the year.
