Approval Of 500M Rs To Start IT Certification In Sindh – CM Sign MoU

With a focus on poverty reduction, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has approved Rs 500 million to launch IT Certificate programs that will improve the IT proficiency of professionals and students throughout the province. According to the CM, the program will give participants industry-recognized certificates and practical skills to help them stand out in the competitive employment market.

The Sindh IT Secretary signed an MoU with NED University Karachi, IBA Sukkur, and Mehran University Jamshoro.

CM Approve IT Training By 3 Universities Across Sindh

With room to grow, the program’s primary goal is to assist 10,000 young people. According to him, the chief minister has given the Sindh IT department Rs. 500 million as part of the ‘Initiative of Capacity Building’ for the relevant universities.

It has been informed to the Cheif Minister of Sindh that the IT Certified Program Course will include:

  • Certified Digital Marketing Professional, 
  • Certified Web Developer,

Duration Of IT Courses Offered By Universities 

The chief minister was advised by Secretary IT Noor Samoo that each certificate was valid for two months. The certification courses are offered five days a week, Monday through Friday. There will be 30 to 35 people in each batch. The program will be run in two stages: the first will involve IT certification, and the second will involve rewarding the chosen participants or those who rank highest. He said that all IT certifications would be physically available at the centers.
