Banks To Set Up 2 Touch Points In Every Union Council Level
According to the information given by Director General Naveed Akbar, it has been reported that BISP has directed all the partner Banks to establish at least 2 Service Points at Each Union Council across Pakistan which will result in the establishment of 23,000 Touch Points all over the country.
It has very important effects for the beneficiares, firstly this will allow the Women to receive their payments very easily from any touch point as these will be formed at the Union Council level. Moreover, this will reduce the traveling distance of women from their homes because they need to travel a long area to come to campsites or Tehsil office.
The presence of these touch Points in their area will reduce the distance and save them money, which means if they do not receive their money on the first visit then they can easily visit again to the nearest Service points.
