The distribution of the free livestock  Program has started by Sunday to 11,000 eligible women with the 2 billion rupees allocation budget. CM Maryam Nawaz’s provision is for moral and financial support to the poverty-stricken womankind in the province of Punjab’s South.

Punjab Government Dhi Rani Project: Update!

The CM of Pakistan has initiated the Dhi Rani Program for rural women in south Punjab. This program aims to provide free livestock like cows, buffaloes, and goats to deserving widows and Divorcees so that they can manage their livelihood on their own.

پاکستان کے وزیراعلیٰ نے جنوبی پنجاب میں دیہی خواتین کے لیے دھی رانی پروگرام کا آغاز کیا ہے۔ اس پروگرام کا مقصد مستحق بیواؤں اور طلاق یافتہ افراد کو مفت مویشی جیسے گائے، بھینس اور بکری فراہم کرنا ہے تاکہ وہ اپنی روزی کا انتظام خود کر سکیں۔ دھی رانی سکیم پر عمل درآمد جنوبی پنجاب کے اہل اضلاع میں اتوار 17 نومبر سے شروع ہو گیا ہے۔

The implementation for the Dhi Rani Scheme Has started By Sunday 17th of November in the eligible districts of South Punjab.

16 November Last Date To Registration For Free Livestock:

The Punjab government’s Dhi Rani Programme is aimed at the welfare of widows and divorcees living in remote villages. The women of 12 districts were liable to apply for livestock projects till November 16. The women were able to apply for the scheme from 1st November till 16th November.

Moreover, the CM Punjab added that the largest number of eligible women had applied for this Program Across south Punjab.

12 districts selected Free Livestock Disbursement:

The Punjab Government has selected 12 districts of South Punjab for the free cattle disbursement. Only the women from the selected districts can apply for free-of-cost livestock. The eligible districts are listed below.

  • Dera Ghazi Khan.
  • Muzaffargarh.
  • Rajan Pur.
  • Layyah.
  • Kot Addu.
  • Multan.
  • Khanewal.
  • Lodhran.
  • Vehari.
  • Bahawal Nagar.
  • Rahim Yaar Khan.
  • Bahawal Pur.

Financially Authorizing Poor Widows And Divorcees Across South Punjab:

Through the free livestock, the women in the remote villages will be financially authorized. The main aim of the government to start this is to make poor needy unbacked people stable enough to support themselves, their families, and children. The womankind can earn by selling the milk of the cows and buffaloes and can also bring up their cattle to sell them.

The Increment Of Meat And Milk Production:

The CM  free livestock not only benefits women women but the livestock project will also help increase milk production in the country. Through this project, the healthy production of good-breed animals, meat, and overall milk production will multiply and expand in Punjab.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif professes that women’s economic welfare is a top government priority. She highlighted that the livestock distribution would create earning opportunities for agrarian women, enabling them to get financial independence to lead their livelihood.
