CM Distributed “Child Surgery Cards” For Free Treatment In Punjab

According to the latest update, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has launched the “Maryam Masihai Programme” in Punjab so that heart patients and children can receive free treatment for the rest of their lives. While visiting a hospital in Lahore she distributed the “Child Surgery Card” to patients and also delivered a speech at Children’s Hospital Lahore. CM “Maryam Masihai Programe” Launched In Lahore For Heart Patient

In Maryam Masihai Programe, all the heart Patients in the Hospital will receive a Child surgery Card so that they can do their heart treatment from any Private hospital if space in a government Hospital is not available. 

مریم مسیحائی پروگرام میں، ہسپتال میں دل کے تمام مریضوں کو چائلڈ سرجری کارڈ ملے گا تاکہ وہ اپنے دل کا علاج کسی بھی پرائیویٹ ہسپتال سے کروا سکیں اگر کسی سرکاری ہسپتال میں جگہ دستیاب نہ ہو۔ پیر کو چلڈرن ہسپتال لاہور کے دورے کے دوران وزیر اعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز شریف نے دل کی تکلیف میں مبتلا بچوں کو “چائلڈ سرجری کارڈ” دینے کے ساتھ ساتھ “مریم مسیحائی پروگرام” کا افتتاح کیا۔ وزیر اعلیٰ مریم نواز نے تقریب کے دوران کہا کہ یہ کارڈ نوجوانوں کو دل کے مسائل سے دوچار مفت طبی امداد حاصل کرنے کے قابل بنائے گا۔

During her visit to Children Hospital Lahore on Monday, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif gave children with heart problems “Child Surgery Cards” as well as inaugurated the “Maryam Masihai Programme.”

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said during the event that the card will enable youngsters with cardiac issues to get free medical care.

Two Phases Of Maryam Masihai programe

While speaking at the ceremony, Maryam Nawaz guided about the later stages of this initiative, she assured that this program will be expanded in many cities of Punjab so that more people can get relief from it. Therefore, there will be two stages to the initiative’s launch.

Areas Covered In Phase 1

The program will be accessible in six government hospitals and a few private hospitals throughout the province during its initial phase. Children can get free heart surgeries at:

  • Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC), 
  • Children’s Hospital Lahore, 
  • Children Hospital Multan, 
  • and Rawalpindi Cardiology Institute.

Areas Covered In 2nd Phase

In the second Phase of the Maryam Masihai Program, more hospitals with different regions will benefit from it, as listed below:

  • Wazirabad, 
  • Dera Ghazi Khan, 
  • Bahawalpur, 
  • and Sargodha.

Dashboard – To Monitor The Progress Of Children’s Heart Surgery Program

A special dashboard has been created to track the Children’s Heart Surgery Program’s advancement. The chief minister said that she is a mother and that she is aware of the sorrow experienced by parents whose children have died for lack of access to healthcare. She stressed that the program’s goal is to lessen families’ suffering.

Maryam Nawaz Assures Improved Treatment for Heart Patients in Punjab

The chief minister visited the cardiac ward, DHU, and other hospital departments in addition to checking over the dashboard monitoring system. She talked to their parents about the care they were receiving, played with the kids, gave them candy, and prayed for their health.

To guarantee that everyone has access to high-quality healthcare, she reaffirmed her commitment to bolstering surgical teams and increasing the availability of specialized medical care.

Maryam Masihai Program To Expand

According to Maryam Nawaz, the lack of these amenities results in the deaths of almost 5,000 children annually. This program, which is the first of its type in Pakistan, also benefits youngsters from KPK, Sindh, and Balochistan.
