Launch Of CM Dialysis Program Card: Rs 1 Million For Patients!
The first-ever Chief Minister Dialysis card program was approved during the meeting headed by CM Punjab on Tuesday, November 19. This scheme, initiated under the supervision of Maryam Nawaz, is intended to treat dialysis patients as soon as possible.
The meeting also shared the free medications and the establishment of multiple Hemodialysis units across Punjab. Maryam Nawaz expressed disappointment with the AIDS numbers of diagnoses in Multan and Nawaz Sharif’s Cancer Hospital’s progress.

Allocation Of Rs 1 Million For Each Dialysis Patient:
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has increased funds for the CM Dialysis Program Card by up to Rs 1 million for each dialysis patient’s treatment, medications, and tests.
The government has categorized the figure of Rs 8.5 lakh for dialysis treatment per person, while Rs1.5 is the place for the medicines and tests for patients facing kidney disease.
Establishment Of More Dialysis Units in The Province:
In addition, an agreement has been made to establish more dialysis units across the province of Punjab for more relief of the patients in every part of the province. This decision is made to improve attainability and to provide more healthcare facilities to dialysis patients. Moreover, the infrastructure of the healthcare department will also strengthen across the province.
The Punjab Healthcare Commission department was also instructed in the implementation of SOPs in dialysis institutes and monitoring Punjab’s dialysis centers.
Free Dialysis Medications And Services:
Maryam Nawaz also enlightened that free medication and services are also provided to the patients not only in Punjab. The patients from other provinces are also enriched by the free dialysis service, and free medications from the Punjab govt are also transferred to Sindh, Balochistan, and other provinces.
Instructions For Continuing Treatments Without Delay:
The Chief Minister of Punjab emphasized that dialysis therapies should have to be taken without interruption, these treatments will continue under all circumstances because the health and well-being of patients are the foremost priority.
She further said that the delay in the dialysis treatment and medications due to funds shortage is unbearable.
Apply For CM Dialysis Card
Patients with kidney disease can apply for a CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz Dialysis Card at the District Hospital or Tehsil in their area. There, the entire application procedure will be available. Only kidney patients who have the required paperwork and evidence may apply.
Nawaz Sharif Cancer Hospital Progress Update:
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) have been set for Scrutinizing the Execution of the health department. The progress of the Nawaz Sharif Cancer Hospital development was also addressed.
