Maryam Nawaz Sharif recently committed to the students during a meeting at Bahauddin Zakariya University that the Punjab government has decided that these scholarships should be applied to a larger circle within the scholarship program, that is, she showed her notification that more people seeking knowledge can be awarded scholarships. She said that the Punjab Honhaar scholarship program will be expanded and reach more students so that education can be promoted more in our country.
مریم نواز شریف نے حال ہی میں بہاؤالدین زکریا یونیورسٹی میں ایک میٹنگ کے دوران طلباء سے وعدہ کیا کہ پنجاب حکومت نے فیصلہ کیا ہے کہ ان سکالرشپ پروگرام کے اندر ایک بڑے دائرے میں لاگو کیا جائے، یعنی انہوں نے اپنا نوٹیفکیشن دکھایا کہ علم کے حصول کے لیے زیادہ سے زیادہ لوگ حاصل کر سکتے ہیں۔ اسکالرشپ سے نوازا. انہوں نے کہا کہ پنجاب ہونہار سکالرشپ پروگرام کو وسعت دی جائے گی اور زیادہ سے زیادہ طلباء تک پہنچائی جائے گی تاکہ ہمارے ملک میں تعلیم کو مزید فروغ دیا جا سکے۔ 6 جنوری 2025 کو بہاؤالدین زکریا یونیورسٹی میں ہونار پروگرام سکالرشپ کی تقریب کے دوران، مریم نواز شریف نے سکالر شپ جیتنے والوں اور ان کے اہل خانہ کو مبارکباد دی۔ انہوں نے یہ بھی کہا کہ وہ ایک حاصل شدہ وزیر کے طور پر نہیں بلکہ ایک ماں کے طور پر خطاب کر رہی ہیں۔ مریم نواز شریف نے اپنے جذبات کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ علمائے کرام کے ساتھ ان کا رشتہ ماں جیسا ہے جو نوجوانوں کے لیے ان کی حمایت اور محبت کی نمائندگی کرتا ہے۔

She also said that she is not addressing as an achieved minister but as a mother. Maryam Nawaz Sharif showed her emotions and expressed that her relationship with the scholars is as a mother which represents her support and love for the youth.

CM Objects Officials For 75 Years Of Neglection In Education
Maryam Nawaz Sharif emphasized that all funds belong to the government and are received from the people and their real purpose is to be used for the people only. He objected that in the last 75 years, why were all these mandatory resources not continuously invested for the betterment of education and students?
She said that if the funds had been used properly and continuously, more and more students would have turned their dreams into reality and achieved their goals, along with the progress in society.

She clarified during the briefing that these scholarships are given solely on the basis of merit, hard work, and ability she emphasized that political affiliation or recommendation for any student, whether it is made by MNAs or MPAs, will not have any impact.
All the scholarships that are being given under the Punjab Honhar Scholarship Programs have been allocated through a transparent and fair system and will be allocated in the same way in the future where only those students will be given a chance to be eligible on the basis of their academic records.
