President Zardari Ask Govt To Lower The Bill Prices
According to specifics, President Asif Zardari urged the federal administration to bring good news to the country on Independence Day by lowering electricity costs.
According to him, the public cannot afford the present electricity costs. The president underlined, “The people’s burden of electricity bills cannot be increased any further.” He asked the federal and provincial governments to create a plan for this alleviation and recommended that the public be given immediate relief by having their electricity rates lowered.

14 Rs Per Unit Relief for 0-500 Unit Electricity Consumers
Following President Zardari’s call, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and Nawaz Sharif announced some wonderful news for all Punjabis during a press conference on Friday. He disclosed at his conference the plans for Punjab’s power bills and the steps being taken to lower the cost of electricity for the benefit of the populace.
In the meantime, he declared that citizens need not be alarmed by rising power costs because they will receive a 14 rupee relief per unit in their bills in August and September. This relief will be funded by the government and will total Rs 45 billion. In addition, he talked about a few significant problems brought on by the high cost of electricity.
