A hospital in Lahore named Sheik Zayed Hospital has now stopped providing free medicine to the patients who are receiving free treatment on the health Card and this causes way bigger complications for many residents in Punjab.

Sheik Zayed’s Hospital Stopped Providing Relief On Health Card
According to an authentic source, the Sheikh Zayed Hospital in Lahore has ceased giving away free medications to patients who are receiving care using health cards. The State Life Insurance Company notified the director of Sheikh Zayed Hospital that the hospital’s health card offices had been closed due to administrative failure.

Now people who were having free treatments from Zayed Hospital will no longer get medicine and treatment on the Punjab Health Card and due to the closure of the health Card office, no more patients can now receive Sehat Card from that Hospital.

A representative for State Life Insurance firm said that since hospital administration is not helping patients, patients are now required to buy medications and medical supplies from private pharmacies.
Despite the health card’s intention to provide free medical care, the hospital continues to bill patients, which forces the closure of the health card departments.
