CM Punjab Honhaar Scholarships Cheques distribution:
CM Punjab inaugurated the 2nd Phase of Honhaar Scholarships at Fast National University of Computer and Engineering on 23rd December.Under the Punjab Scholarships students will be granted all facilities for their education. Now all the hardworking young scholars can achieve their academic studies from the illustrious education hubs established in the Province. The scholarships have been allocated in the form of cheques to the students. Furthermore, she also declared to increase the number of annual scholarships from 30,000 to 50,000.
وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب نے 23 دسمبر کو فاسٹ نیشنل یونیورسٹی آف کمپیوٹر اینڈ انجینئرنگ میں ہنر سکالرشپ کے دوسرے مرحلے کا افتتاح کیا۔پنجاب سکالرشپ کے تحت طلباء کو ان کی تعلیم کے لیے تمام سہولیات فراہم کی جائیں گی۔ اب تمام محنتی نوجوان اسکالرز صوبے میں قائم کردہ نامور تعلیمی مراکز سے اپنی تعلیمی تعلیم حاصل کر سکتے ہیں۔ طلباء کو وظائف چیک کی صورت میں مختص کیے گئے ہیں۔ مزید برآں، انہوں نے سالانہ وظائف کی تعداد تیس ہزار سے بڑھا کر پچاس ہزار کرنے کا بھی اعلان کیا۔
CM Punjab Awarded More Than 2500 Scholarships in – Phase II:
At Fast University of Islamabad CM Punjab allocated about 2570 scholarships. The first disbursement phase occurred at Punjab University Maryam Nawaz, where 2473 scholarships were allocated to Honhaar youth.
Provision Of 1886 Students Of UET In Lahore:
A total of 1,886 students from UET have been given scholarships, among which 1660 were disbursed in the Public sector while 637 were in private colleges.
Honhaar Scholarship Program also provides scholarships for students at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore.
Maryam Nawaz Enlisted Reliable Universities And Medical Colleges
The Punjab government is willing to aid more students with the opportunity to pursue their higher education excluding financial situations. That’s why the Punjab government has targeted various universities and colleges in the province with the addition of vast fields.
The 65 universities of Punjab are targeted in the scheme. CM Punjab has also added 12 medical and dental colleges, the other 359 colleges, and 68 different fields for student to pursue their Higher Education.
3-Tier Community-Based Supervising Of The Application Procedures
The entire scholarship process will be supervised by institutional, provincial, and steering committees. The initial screening of applicants will be monitored by an institutional committee. The overall selection process was overviewed by the provincial committee and the senior Provincial Minister Mariyam Aurangzeb examined transparency and fairness led by the steering committee.
Maryam Nawaz New Program: Disbursement Of 100,000 E-Bikes
At the launch ceremony of tranche II of the Honhaar scholarship, the Chief Minister also announced the distribution of 100,000 E-Bikes to students. The government of Punjab will allocate a total of 27,179 bikes in the program’s first phase in which 20,000 petrol bikes will be granted to students. While 8,179 e-bikes will be given, of which 7,479 will be given to female students.As Punjab government has yet to receive 72,640 applications for the e-bike scheme.
IT Education City In Lahore
The establishment of an “Education City” in Lahore was also announced by the CM of Punjab Maryam Nawaz, aimed at inviting top global universities to set up their campuses in Punjab. This IT city in Lahore will provide students with higher education and the province will become a hub for international education.
