This shows an increment of 28.6% in the Kafalat Payments for BISP new installments.

IMF Okays The Increase Of Rs 13,500 As The Kafalat’s New Stipened

The IMF reports that starting in January, the Benazir Kafalat Program participants who currently earn Rs. 10,500 would receive a quarterly stipend that will increase by Rs. 3,000, bringing the total quarterly stipend to Rs. 13,500. IMF& World Bank Collaboration For Enhancing BISP

Together with the World Bank, the IMF is attempting to improve the BISP and its administrative framework. For the current fiscal year, the BISP has a budget of Rs. 599 billion, approximately 0.5% of Pakistan’s GDP. Compared to last year, this is a 27% rise.

The main focus of the BISP program is to ensure transparency in their disbursement system and to monitor if all the people are receiving their Payments with complete respect. According to Rubina Khalid, it is their right which is being distributed through the BISP team management and they are not doing any kind of favor to them.

IMF Unveil New Loan Conditions For Pakistan

The International Monetary Fund disclosed the terms in a comprehensive report on a new credit arrangement with Pakistan. According to the loan agreement, the IMF’s assessment calls on the Pakistani government to endeavor to stabilize the macroeconomic environment.

The government of Pakistan has been urged to provide economic reforms and favorable circumstances for the private sector to stimulate the economy.

After the IMF Executive Board approved a 37-month Extended Fund Facility worth US$7 billion, Pakistan received the first tranche of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on September 27. According to SBP, the first tranche from the IMF was SDR 760 million, or USD 1026.9 million, which was received by SBP on Friday.
