According to the most recent update by the BISP Chairperson Rubina Khalid, the Benazir Income Support Program is starting a new initiative called a skill development program through which beneficaries and their family members will get free skill training classes from the institution formed by the BISP team. Once they gain training in any of the required fields then an international certificate will be given to them by which they will get a good job abroad and as a result, it will lift their families above the poverty line.

Beneficaries of the Benazir Income Support Program are requested to conduct a re-survey from the Tehsil office if it has been two years since they surveyed for the program, because if they have received the April to June Payment and think that they are still eligible for the program then they must remember that they are eligible till 30 September as after that no survey or payment will be given to them.
BISP is now registering new beneficiaries for September 12500 Payments because, for the new fiscal year, it has been announced to register 700,000 new beneficiaries in the program due to a high rate of inflation.
