Nadra Introduces Latest B-Form Features For Children Over 10!
Latest announcement by the NADRA officials regarding Children B-Form for 2025, now the new rules and security features are introduced in a Child’s B-form which has become an important document for preparing Passport. A unique B-Form (birth registration certificate) with extra security aspects has been introduced for children over ten, according to the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).

New Security Features introduce in Child’s B-Form
One of the latest announcements made by Pakistan’s interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi is about the New silent features in the B-form of children over 10. He announced that the NADRA has now made the Fingerprints and Photograph as a mandatory part of Child’s Birth Certificate.

15 January: Issue Your New B-form From NADRA Office
The process of issuing the new B-Form by NADRA is expected to commence gradually from January 15, 2025.
This project intends to expedite the registration of children under 18, providing them with a critical identification certificate required for educational enrollment, government subsidies, and other essential services.

According to the informational source, it has been revealed that the process will require both the parent’s electronic identity card and the child’s computerized birth certificate. Following the completion of the required steps, a B-Form with photo feature will be sent.

New B-Form Is Required For Passport Making
Applying for a new passport will require the new B-Form, which contains the child’s fingerprints and photo. Mohsin Naqvi added that older B-Forms that do not have the fingerprints and photo will no longer be acceptable.
Reason Behind The New Features Arrival In B-Form
A representative for the interior ministry, Mohsin Naqvi, said that this action will lessen the likelihood that children’s identifying information will be stolen or misused. He noted that the new B-Form will be crucial in reducing problems like illegitimate passports, phony identity cards, and people trafficking.
Future Reforms
The spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior added that further identification procedures, like fingerprints, photos, and iris scans, will be used at union councils as part of future reforms. Additionally, the province’s Civil Registration Management Systems will be connected with NADRA’s identity system.
Plans are also underway to provide digital IDs to all Pakistani citizens, and efforts are on to enhance services on the Pak ID mobile app.
