6 Month Internship At shrimp Farm In Muzaffargarh
The new aquaculturist will get an internship job for a six-month timeframe at the Fisheries department’s Shrimp Farm located in Muzaffargarh. A candidate with fresh experience will be appointed for this job. Through these programs, the trainees will be equipped with great skills and build expertise in their field.
Not only that, the government also wants to meet the international demand for this by generating more aquaculture output as it will also help to boost aquaculture in Pakistan.
Raising shrimp on 100,000 acres:
Maryam Nawaz explained the huge economic advantages of shrimps cultivating. She said that utilization of just 100,000 acres of land for shrimp could generate output of over a billion dollars. She adds South Punjab’s empty barren and deserted land into a shrimp aqua cultivating project. This would help the economy to grow by making barren land productive and profitable.

Allowance Of 50,000 To Aquaculture Interns
The Punjab government will hand the amount of 50,000 rupees of pay to the new aquatic farming trainees each month for six months of training. So the interns can run their expenses and their household and focus on their experience building in aquaculture.
