New School Timing Update In Lahore & Punjab’s Other Region

Here is the latest update for all the students of Punjab the Government has now changed the school timings and from October 28th the new schedule will be followed. This action has been taken in a bid to fight against the rising smog which has become one of the leading problems in Lahore and its major component came from the vehicles and industries.

New School Timing Announced Across Punjab

The Punjab Environment Protection Department has declared new school schedules for the entire province to address the deteriorating pollution conditions in Lahore.

School hours will change to 8:45 am on October 28 and will stay that way until January 31. The decision was made because of the significant health dangers to children and the elderly posed by Lahore’s Air Quality Index (AQI), which has risen beyond 150.

School Timings For Double Shift

In double-shift schools, lessons conclude earlier on Fridays at noon, with the first shift ending at 12:45 p.m. On Fridays, the second shift will run from 2 PM to 5 PM instead of the regular 1 PM to 5 PM hours.

Additionally, the letter stated that teachers must report to school by 8:30 a.m. and end their workday at 3 p.m.
