The BISP Chairperson Rubina Khalid has announced that the new initiatives have been taken by the 8171 Program to end the franchise system and introduced an Online Banking option for the beneficiaries so that their 13,500 Kafalat Payment can be transferred directly into their accounts. In the past few days, Rubina Khalid has visited many areas of Skardu and Gilgit Baltistan to check over the conditions of Tehsil offices and to talk to the beneficiaries.

The Chairperson stated that she was visiting Chilas intending to meet worthy ladies face-to-face and learn about their struggles. She made it clear that maltreatment of any kind, including taking money out of the stipends of worthy women, would not be tolerated. Registrations in the BISP Program are still going on at the Tehsil offices across Pakistan so that more people can enroll their names in the list of Beneficiaries.
