8171: The Only Platform For Information Dissemination, Says Rubina Khalid

Benazir Chair Person Rubina Khalid has deliver a very important message to all the beneficiaries and local residents across that nation that BISP has only one platform for information dissemination and that is 8171 SMS, if a person is receiving message from 8171 then only they are eligible for the Ehsaas Kafalat 13500 Payment, otherwise all the other messages, no matter how detail or short it would be fake or scam or they are not from 8171.

Therefore, it is a very true and strict instruction by chairperson Rubina Khalid for all the women to check their CNIC update by messaging at 8171 and they only have to believe in information which will arrive to them through the 8171 portal.

BISP Uses Only 8171 To Disseminate Information

Rubina Khalid, the chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Program, has cautioned BISP beneficiaries against putting their trust in any number other than 8171 because it is used to trick innocent people. As nowadays many scams are happening with the name of BISP or ehsaas Program, that collects all the beneficiaries data and also takes money from them. 

Speaking to ladies during her visit to the Benazir Income Support Program payment sites in Peshawar today, she shared these opinions. She encouraged recipients to pick up their quarterly stipends at the specified payment locations. 

Fake Messages From Unknown Number

Only women who receive a message from “8171” are permitted to enter the Campsites where the Benazir Income Support Program distributes its December payments to beneficiaries; all other Beneficiaries, even if they receive a message regarding their payment status but it is not from 8171, are not accepted by the BISP team.

The BISP Program has now sent out a high alert message to inform beneficiaries about the Benazir Kafalat Program and how they can check their payment status online using their CNIC, as many fraudulent activities involving eligible women are occurring through SMS and calls from unknown numbers.

Rubina Khalid Urged Beneficiaries To File Complaint Against Fraudster  

Beneficiaries of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) are urged by Chairperson Rubina Khalid to call their helpline at 0800-26477 right once to report any staff misbehavior or stipend deductions. For all recipients in Pakistan, this toll-free number is open around-the-clock.

Important Instruction By Rubina Khalid To Staff

Chairperson Rubina Khalid instructed the staff to give older women and those with small children priority when it came to payments in order to guarantee prompt and fair assistance. She also underlined the value of openness by giving staff instructions to make sure deserving women are aware of the help they are receiving by telling them about their payment amounts when tokens are being issued.
