Breaking News! For all the registered Farmers of 8070 Kissan Cards, the date of card distribution has been announced by the Punjab Government which is 1st September. From the Starting of next month, registered Kissan will start receiving their Kisan Cards on which they will get subsidized Agricultural Inputs and Interest-Free loans to improve their crops and increase the overall yield for the economic development of the Country.

Farmers Will Receive Kissan Card From 1st Sept 2024

According to announcements made by the Punjab government, registered farmers will begin receiving “Kissan Cards” on September 1, 2024. To offer interest-free agricultural loans, this Scheme has been registering farmers on June 1, 2024, under the “Chief Minister’s Kissan Card” program.

کسان کارڈ کے لیے رجسٹریشن ابھی جاری ہے اور یہ رجسٹریشن 31 اگست تک جاری رہے گی، اس لیے اگر آپ نے ابھی تک اس اسکیم میں اندراج نہیں کرایا ہے تو ابھی آن لائن رجسٹریشن کے ذریعے یا 8070 پر اپنا شناختی کارڈ نمبر بھیج کر درخواست دیں۔ مزید یہ کہ اگست تک 31، افتخار علی ساہو، سیکرٹری زراعت برائے پنجاب، دس لاکھ کسانوں کو رجسٹر کرنے کا ارادہ رکھتے ہیں۔

Moreover, By August 31, 2024, Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, the Secretary of Agriculture for Punjab, intends to have one million farmers registered.

60,000 Farmers Have been Registered For Kisan Card

More than 600,000 farmers have registered for the program as of right now. Additionally, Sahoo disclosed that Bank of Punjab branches will have information desks set up to assist farmers in using these Kissan Cards.

Furthermore, the Secretary of Agriculture has directed the appropriate agencies to expedite the registration of vendors who would accept these cards for the purchase of inputs for agriculture, such as seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides.

Who Can Apply For The Kisan Card – Eligibility Criteria

Owners of up to 12.5 acres of land will be able to register for a Kisan card.
The land must be registered with the land record center to receive a Kisan Card, and the farmer must register his mobile SIM card number with his ID card.
The farmer’s ID card will be checked by the government using information from the NADRA.
There should be no financial delinquency on the part of the farmer. After six months of making easy monthly payments on the interest-free loan, the farmer will be able to qualify for another loan for the following crop.
