The Distribution of Punjab Himmat Cards has been started across the province for registered people who are facing any kind of disability and are unfit for any job, the Government of Punjab has decided to facilitate these people in collaboration with the Bank of Punjab and PTB by providing Punjab Himmat Card so that these people can receive a Monthly Support of Rs 10500 Rs to fulfill their basic requirements.

Himmat Card Distribution Started Across Punjab for Disabled & Jobless People

The Promised made by Cheif Minister Maryam Nawaz to assist eligible and disabled people through the government initiative has now come into action and from today the distribution of Punjab Himmat Cards has been started across the Province to the eligible people who have registered through the official Portal.

Maryam Nawaz has started the issuance of Himmat cards only to eligible and jobless people who are unable to do any work and are also living in a vulnerable condition due to poverty.

Who Is Eligible For Himmat Card From Govt Of Punjab?

The Punjab Government has launched a new and very essential initiative for people who meet the given criteria:

PWDs need to have Social Welfare Punjab certification.
PWDs shouldn’t be able to work and shouldn’t hold positions in the public or private sectors.
PWD shouldn’t have recently received funding from BISP, PSPA, Zakat Fund, Bait ul Maal, etc.
The 8171 BISP‘s PMT score shouldn’t be higher than 37.
PWD fundamental information, such as CNIC, address, mobile number, education, and experience, should be updated in the DPMIS.

65,000 Disabled People Will Receive Cards In 1st Phase

As part of this program, the Bank of Punjab will provide ATM cards to 65,000 individuals with disabilities. A quarterly Payment of PKR 10,500 will be given to each recipient of these cards. The rollout will take place in two stages: in the first, 40,000 PWDs will receive their cards, and in the second, 25,000 more PWDs will receive their cards. By September 15th, money will begin to be distributed using the Himmat Card.
