Registration Starts For Free Insulin Program: Apply At 1033!
Pakistan’s Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has initiated CM Punjab free insulin program for children with type 1 diabetes. District Health Authority (DHA) has officially launched registration for this Landmark program.
CM Maryam Nawaz Insulin Program will provide free insulin and glucometers to children under 14 who are diagnosed with diabetes. Under this program, insulin will be delivered to patients at their homes. These free insulin and other treatments are necessary to control their lifetime diabetes.
CM Punjab Insulin Programme 2024-25
On November 30, 2024, on the instructions of Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the District Health Authority formally announced the registration of the Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Insulin Program.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz keeps launching schemes for the people of the province so that they can make life easier for the needy people. The Punjab Government and Maryam Nawaz have launched a new scheme, the Chief Minister Insulin Program, to provide free insulin to children suffering from type 1 diabetes across the province.
This program has been specially designed for those children who face difficulties in getting insulin. Under this program, each eligible child will be provided with an insulin card through which they will be able to get their medicines, insulin, and glucometers.
Registrations For Free Insuline Starts
In addition to getting insulin from the comfort of home, the Government of Punjab has set up a helpline and physical registration desk for diabetic children and their parents so that parent can register their children for the Chief Minister Punjab Free Insulin Program.
Applying For the CM Insuline Program Via 1033
For this program, the government has set up an expression helpline 1033 through which parents of patients can easily register their children and get free insulin in iced packaging at their doorstep.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif also said that children with type 1 diabetes require lifelong treatment and the Punjab government will provide resources to all children in the province battling diabetes through which they can be treated.
Registration Through Tehsil Clinics Or Mobile App
Diabetic patients across the province can register by calling the helpline, as well as by visiting the NCDs clinics and getting their registration done. They can also complete their registration on the program’s mobile app established by the government.

NCDs Has Set Up In 6 Districts in Across Rawalpindi
The District Authority(DHA) has officially set up non-communication clinics (NCDs) in Rawalpindi. These clinics have been set up at Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (THQs)and District Headquarters Hospital (DHQs). These clinics aim to provide specialized care and services to diabetic patients, such as free fresh insulin, glucometers, and parent counseling sessions. These clinics have been set up at six locations in Rawalpindi, which are listed below.
Convenient Insulin Delivery At Patient Homes
The Punjab government has not only organized a free insulin program for children battling diabetes, but the Chief Minister also issued instructions that after the registration is completed, insulin and glucometers, which will be completely packed in ice packs, will be provided directly to the homes of the successfully registered diabetic patients.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif said ‘’I am also a mother and can understand the pain and suffering of children very well’’.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that type-1 diabetic children should be provided with insulin at home so that they do not have to bother visiting the hospital again and again. The aim of providing free insulin and glucometers at the doorsteps is to free children and their parents from the burden of visiting hospitals repeatedly and paying bills.
Counseling sessions For Parents:
To cure children of diabetes this program also provides counseling sessions for the parents. This session aims to educate parents about preventive measures to reduce diabetes risks and also create an effective healthier environment for for their children.
Dr. Niazi focuses on helping children with Type-1 diabetes by providing them with the treatments they need for a healthy lifestyle. He also said that the supplies would be given out to the patient’s doorstep as soon as the data compilation was completed.
