In her very recent meeting, Maryam Nawaz announced that the distribution of solar panels will start soon for the Registered People of Punjab under a Roshan Gharana Program. Date Finalized For Solar Panel Distribution By CM Punjab

The Planning and Development Board met, presided over by CM Maryam, to discuss numerous uplift initiatives. The Chief Minister Fund for the manufacturing of solar panels and the “Roshan Gharana” scheme was also approved during the meeting.

During the discussion session in Lahore, Maryam Nawaz announced to start of the Solar panel distribution in November and directed her team to speed up the the finalization of this program.

The meeting’s attendees were informed that Punjab’s residents will begin receiving solar panels in November. During the discussion, 482 plans for building and maintaining Punjab’s 11,000 km of roads were examined. During the briefing, it was revealed that Punjab had issued Kisan cards to over 35,000 farmers.

In Punjab, 7500 tube wells will be solarized in the first phase, with completion scheduled for June of next year.

Households using less than 200 units of electricity per month will receive free solar panels,
Those using 200 to 500 units can apply for interest-free loans to install solar panels,
Those using more than 500 units will be eligible for loans that are 75% interest-free for the same purpose.

The Punjab government will cover 90% of the cost of the solar panels, with the remaining 10% coming from the users.
