Maryam Nawaz Announces Rewards For Top Students In Punjab
The Punjab government approved a plan on Thursday in a meeting presided over by Chief Minister Marayam in Lahore. The plan will pay for the education costs of 25,000 students in the province.
It was decided at the conference to give rewards to Punjabi education board position holders. Along with approving the children’s awards, the CM made sure that the teachers who were instrumental in these students’ achievements would also receive recognition and honors of their own.
25000 Students across all boards To Get Scholarship In Punjab
During a meeting, the committee decided to praise these talented children and motivate them for their future lives by gifting rewards and benefits to them, meanwhile, it was also decided in the meeting that 25000 Students would receive free education on a scholarship by the Punjab Government.
To ensure that these kids’ academic goals will not be hindered by financial constraints, the Punjab government resolved during the conference to provide more than Rs 125 billion in annual support. This program has the potential to greatly alleviate the burden on families and motivate students to pursue their education with renewed zest.
Teachers Will Also Receive Awards
Along with approving the children’s awards, the CM made sure that the teachers who were instrumental in these students’ achievements would also receive recognition and honors of their own. One instructor from the school of each top-performing student will also get an award as part of the recognition.
Transportation System Launch For Female Students
In addition, the Chief Minister launched a transportation program especially for female students to alleviate the mobility difficulties they experienced.
60 girls’ colleges in Punjab will receive buses as part of this program’s initial phase, making it easier and safer for female students to commute.
Measures Taken For The Relaunch Of Laptop Scheme
In this meeting, which was held by Maryam Nawaz, she also discussed the need to relaunch the laptop scheme with more students as youth nowadays have more potential in the IT Sector, therefore it is the government’s responsibility to provide all the necessary equipment to the Beneficaries.
To ensure that students have access to the resources they need to succeed in their studies, the Chief Minister directed concerned officials to take the required actions to revive the laptop program. With the provision of laptops to support their academic endeavors, thousands of students—especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds—are anticipated to profit from this effort.
Establishment of IT Hubs
These centers aim to give students the fundamental digital skills they need to meet the demands of the contemporary world. The CM gave the go-ahead to set up these hubs right away.
