25 Billion Scholarship Program Launched By The Punjab Govt – August Update

CM of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz has announced the new scholarship program for successful students in Punjab by offering a free lifetime education to them, wherever they want to study. This Scholarship Scheme has been formed with a budget of 25 billion Rupees and is limited to the students who have received rewards from the Punjab government for their top Positions from all 9 boards.

CM Announces Rs.25 Billion Scholarship Program For The Students
The Punjab government has declared the opening of a student scholarship scheme valued at 25 billion rupees. At a prize-distribution ceremony in Lahore on August 20, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz made the news.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif commended the best students from Punjab’s educational boards, as well as their parents and instructors, for their achievements despite the province’s inadequate infrastructure, resources, and atmosphere.
CM Scholarship For The Position Holders Across Punjab’s 9 Boards
Maryam Nawaz reportedly attended the “Leaders for Tomorrow Awards 2024 Ceremony” on Tuesday at the CM Office. There, she honored and recognized the event and praised all the hardworking Position holder’s children. A contingent of Punjab Police officers also presented the students with a guard of honor.
139 of Punjab’s most deserving children will receive free education under the CM Scholarship Scheme, she said in her speech at the ceremony. The government of Punjab will cover all of the costs of their further education, no matter where they want to pursue it.

List Of Universities Students Will Get Free Scholarship
A Rs25 billion scholarship program was also introduced by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to allow gifted kids to attend elite universities including LUMS, Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute, IBA, COMSATS, FAST, and others. She continued, “The tuition fees will be covered by the Punjab government.”
Education System In Punjab To Transform Over The Next 5 Years
Over the next five years, she remarked, the province’s educational system will change. She emphasized the government’s dedication to raising the standard of instruction in public schools. “To address nutritional deficiencies, we are launching a meal program in schools starting on September 5 where students from nursery to fifth grade will receive milk packs.” South Punjab will host the program’s pilot phase, the speaker declared.
