Punjab Government has called off its 12th Cabinet Mission under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, during the meeting many important prospects and fundamental necessities in the province have been discussed. One of the main issues that has been highlighted is for growing more opportunities for the youth of Punjab so that they can have a successful career in their future.

According to the sources, the Punjab government agreed to start an internship program for students in a variety of public sector departments.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced the new Internship Scheme for the early graduates Students of Universities in Punjab, through this initiative they can work with multiple development companies and gain lifetime experience for starting or running their businesses.

Students interning with public sector departments would get a monthly salary of Rs 25,000. In upcoming decisions, the interested student will be guided about the application procedure and who is eligible for the New Internship Program.

Where this Internship will be available 

This is a paid internship program and it is announced to be started all over the province therefore Maryam Nawaz has given a clear declaration that All provincial departments will adopt this internship program.

Paid Climate Internships Launched by Punjab CM

Apart from the internship program, the Chief Minister of Punjab has authorized many significant initiatives to augment development and generate prospects for the youth. The Climate Leadership Development Internship Program is one of these efforts; it has been approved, and all government departments are instructed to begin offering paid internships.

Punjab Bike Scheme- 10,000 More E-Bikes To Be Added to the Scheme

Following the significant announcements made for the people of Punjab during this crucial session, the Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, declared that 10,000 more bikes would be distributed shortly to eligible students who had applied for the Punjab Bikes Scheme.

The Cabinet ordered that the Punjab government pay for the entire cost of the e-bike program, except the cost of insurance. The cost of license plates, documentation, registration, and other associated costs will henceforth be paid for by the Punjab government.

Other Important Initiatives To Be Started By Punjab Government

Additionally, the Chief Minister declared raising the Himmat Card’s quarterly payment to 10,500 rupees. To make sure that people who are unable to work receive their benefits, certain people who qualify for the Himmat Card will have their eligibility checked at home.

The Chief Minister Internship Program would provide 2,000 students with three-month internships in the education sector, including a 25,000 rupee monthly stipend. The e-transfer policy for school and higher education has also been authorized.

The formation of the Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority was agreed during the cabinet meeting. Additionally, the e-transfer policy for school and higher education was adopted. The DC would be permitted to enforce Section 144 for 30 days, the Home Secretary for 90 days, and the provincial government for an extended period, it was also decided during the meeting.
