Maryam Nawaz Started The Largest “School Nutrition Programme”
One of the most recent updates from the Punjab government is here, the CM of Punjab has launched the largest Meal Program in the history of Pakistan by the name of the “School Nutrition Programme” for providing free milk packs to 400,000 Children every day in South Punjab. The first day of this program is on 5th September 2024 and it has been started from the largest government school of Dera Gazi Khan.

School Nutrition Programme Started In DG Khan – Latest Update
Maryam Nawaz had promised to launch the Milk providing program in Punjab for the Students of Primary Schools and today she fulfilled her promise by launching the very first phase of this School Nutrition Programme in Dera Ghazi Khan, during her speech at the schools she announced to prevail this initiative in the whole Punjab very soon and the start has already been taken through which 4 lakh children will get 175ml Milk Pack Every day.

Punjab’s Region That Has Been Started Receiving Free Milk
The program aims to reach more than 400,000 kids in the following three districts of South Punjab:
where child malnutrition rates are highest, every day, 175 ml milk packs will be given to students; the empty packs are to be recycled to raise money for the schools.

What Changes Will Be Made In Schools – CM’s Order
During her speech at DG Khan’s School, Maryam Nawaz emphasized that the administration is committed to putting important changes into place that will enhance the curriculum and the general standard of education. She also emphasized initiatives to modernize school sports facilities to guarantee children’ more comprehensive development.
She underlined that Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat’s Ministry of Education has been working nonstop to serve the public and use resources ethically.
Free Milk Program to Benefit All Govt Schools for the Next 5 Years!
For the next five years, the Education Minister will be in charge of the program and making sure kids get free milk. While visiting a government primary school in Dera Ghazi Khan, Maryam Nawaz gave milk packs to the kids and spoke with them about education and health.
She committed to raising the general public’s level of living and ensuring a better future for them. The Chief Minister also urged other provincial leaders to support this program, as she encouraged the children to love and serve their country.
