Good News For Kids: Sindh Govt to Enroll 800,000 Students in Public Schools

Here is the latest Update for the residents of Sindh, as the Government of Sindh has announced a new Project to promote education in the areas where the Schools have been shut down due to the shortage of teachers. In a most recent Speech Minister for Education and Mines & Minerals Development Syed Sardar Ali Shah announced their mission to enroll 800,000 students in the Government Schools.

New Target Of 0.8 Million New Students In Govt Schools

While speaking to media representatives after leading a rally in the Malir district on Friday, Sardar Ali stated that substantial improvements are being made to Sindh’s teacher attendance tracking system. He issued a warning, saying that instructors who miss work and fail to instruct students will face harsh consequences.

The Sindh government has set a goal of adding 0.8 million new pupils to government schools to improve the province’s educational system.

Sindh Education Minister Leads Admission Rally with Students and Official Support

The Sindh Education Department planned the rally in connection with the admissions drive. It happened between Government Girls Primary School Razaqabad and Government Razaqabad College.

The Peoples Party’s local leaders, including Secretary of Education Zahid Ali Abbasi, social activist Shahzad Roy, MPA Sajid Jokhio, Raja Razzak, and Yusuf Murtaza Baloch, Special Assistant to Chief Minister Saleem Baloch, attended the ceremony. There were also representatives from other international organizations, UNICEF, and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

Participants in the awareness rally held posters and banners emphasizing the value of education. “Parhay Ga Sindh, Barhay Ga Sindh” was one of the chants they chanted. The event was led by participants and students, including Minister Sardar Ali Shah.

According to him, the admission drive has been launched by the Sindh Education Department as a means of increasing the province’s enrollment and accessibility to education. He underlined that the Constitution recognizes education as a vital right. He continued by saying that parents and the state share responsibilities for educating children between the ages of 5 and 16.

Importance Of Education In Sindh – 5.2 Million Children Are Studying

The administration wants to add eight hundred thousand to nine hundred thousand more students to government schools this year. 5.2 million kids are studying right now. The minister promised that efforts are being made to hire qualified teachers and that no school in Sindh will close as a result of a teacher shortage at this time. He issued a warning: teachers who miss class and don’t teach would not be allowed to.

Sindh Minister Launches School Tree Plantation, Tackles Textbook & Solarization Issues

He declared that headmasters would be in charge of the effort, which would involve planting trees in schools. About textbooks, he recognized difficulties but verified that 138 Talukas had received books. He promised to visit bookstores, schools, and book markets in addition to personally overseeing the delivery of books.

A solarization project is being developed by the government to address the problems with heat and power in schools. Subsequently, the minister planted seedlings on school property to kick off a school tree-planting initiative.
